Found in the Philippines at elevations of 600 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with yellowish, erect to ascending, inversely pear-shaped pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, leathery, elliptic-lanceolate to oblong-lanceolate, apiculate, shortly, slender petiolate base leaf that blooms on a basal to from the rhizome, 1.6 to 2" [4 to 5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with a tubular, basal bract and carrying a green and purple flower.
