LATE EARLIER
Common Name The Conical Bulbophyllum
Flower Size .25" [5 mm]
Found in Reunion in humid mid elevation forests at elevations of 300 to 1000 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with clear green, ribbed, elongate, ovoid pseudobulbs carrying 2 apical, linear, apically bilobed leaves that blooms in the late winter and earlier spring on a basal, 8 to 12" [20 to 30 cm] long, descending, rachis slightly thicker than the peduncle, to 4" [to 10cm] long, several to many flowerd inflorescence with a single bract at just below the middle
This species is often considered to be a synonym of B clavatum but I feel that there are sufficient differences to warrant keeping them apart as long as both species are determined correctly.
