Found in Madagascar in humid evergreen forests at elevations around 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with .4 to .8" [1 to 2 cm] between each 4 angled, ovoid pseudobulb carrying 2, apical, oblong to ligulate leaves that blooms in the late winter and earlier spring on a basal, arcuate, refelexed, 8 to 10" [20 to 25 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with elliptic-lanceolate, longer than the flower floral bracts and carrying furfuraceous flowers.
