Found in Thailand in forests on tree trunks at elevations around 1400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with well spaced, ovoid pseudobulbs carrying a single, apcial, erect, contracted below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, slender, nodding, 2.4 to 3.2" [6 to 8 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence .
