Found in the Philippines at elevations around 3000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with a vine-like, very slender, elongated rhizome giving rise to minute pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, leathery, elliptic-oblong to oblong-lanceolate, acute leaf that blooms in the summer on a very short, to .24" [to 6 mm] long, 2 flowered inflorescence carrying the flowers in pairs.
