Found in Sabah Borneo in lower montane forests as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with minute, discoid, not angular pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect to patent, elliptic, obtuse, petiolate base leaf that blooms on a pendulous, 8.4" [21 cm] long, to 11 flowered inflorescence with non-resupinate, spirally arranged, simultaneously opening, wide open flowers.
