Common Name Decary's Bulbophyllum [French Collector in Madagascar]
Flower Size 1/5" to 1/4" [5 to 6 mm]
Found in east central Madagascar in humid, evergreen forests at elevations around 900 to 1000 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with closely set, oval pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, oblanceolate, attenuate from the apical third to the base and shortly petiolate leaf that blooms on a basal, 3 to 4" [7.5 to 10 cm] long, subdense, many flowered inflorescence with acute bracts and small flowers
