Common Name or Meaning The Triangular Bulbophyllum

Found in Sabah and Sarawak Borneo in low and open forests, podozolic forests, forests on steep slopes and ridge top forests at elevations of 1200 to 2100 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with a short-creeping rhizome with .32 to 1.4" [.8 to 3.5 cm] between each, minute, discoid, not laterally flattened pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic to obovate, acute, petiolate base leaf that blooms on a more or less erect, peduncle 3.4 to 6.4" [8.5 to 17 cm] long, provided with 6 to 8 scales, rachis porrect to arching, 3.6 to 12.4" [9 to 31 cm] long, elongated, rather lax, to rather dense , many simutaneously 19 to 70 flowered inflorescence with somewhat longer than the ovary floral bracts.
