Found in New Guinea on trees in lowland forests at lower elevations as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with minute pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect-patent, elliptic, obtuse and miutely apiculate apically, fleshy leaf that blooms in the summer on a .6" [1.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with a cucullate, shorter than the ovary. floral bract and non-resupinate flowers
