Found in New Guinea on trees in forests at elevations around 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with cylindric-conical, oblique pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, glabrous, oblanceolate-ligulate, obtuse, attenuate below leaf that blooms at most any time of the year on a few bracted, [2 to 2.8 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with tubular, tip acuminate, much shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
