Found in the Bismarck Archopelago in hill forests at elevations of 350 to 400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome provided with somewhat persistent sheaths and giving rise to erect, .36" [.9 cm] between each, ovoid to ellipsoid pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic, subacute, petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect to horizontal, peduncle c. 1.8" [4.5 cm] long, provided with 4 scales, rachis c. 1.4" [3.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with tubular at the base, much shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
