Common Name The Sickle-Like Sepal Bulbophyllum

Flower Size .2" [5 mm] wide .92" [2.3 cm] long

Found in Papua New Guinea in lower montane forest on tree trunks near the forest floor at elevations around 800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome giving rise to erect, .2 to .4" [.5 to 1 cm] between each, ovoid to ellipsoid, not flattened pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic, tip emarginate, petiolate base leaf that blooms on usually a single, usually single, peduncle c. 2.4" [6 cm] long, provided with 3 scales, rachis c. 2" [5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with tubular , much shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
