Flower Size

Found only in New Guinea in range forests at elevations around 1300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with .12 to .2" [3 to 5 mm] between each oblong, incumbent pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, ovate, apiculate, attenuate base leaf that blooms in the late fall and early winter on a erect, thin, few bracted, .24" [6 mm] long, single flowered inflorescence with cucullate, apiculate, as long as the sessile ovary floral bracts and carrying non-resupinate flowers

Schlechter states that the flowers are reddish with an almost black lip.
