Found in Sabah Borneo in podozolic forests on small branches at elevations around 1400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome with .28 to .56" [.7 to 1.4 cm] between each discoid, not flattened, medium green pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, thick, ovate to elliptic, medium green, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late fall and early winter on a 3.2" [8 cm] long overall, peduncle 1.42" [3.3 cm] long, rachis 1.88" [4.7 cm] long, to 22 flowered inflorescence with ovate to triangular, longer than the ovary floral bracts and carrying non-fragrant flowers with yellowish at the base, brownish-orange at the tip sepals and yellowish petals, a greyisg green lip and a pale green column.
