Common Name The Elegant Bulbophyllum

Flower Size .2" [5mm]

Found in southern India at elevations of 1300 to 1700 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte that blooms in the spring on a 2" [5 cm] long, loosely several flowered inflorescence.

CAUTION Fallon and Garay's photo came to me as Bulbophyllum lineolatum and he felt that it was different than B elegantulum so use with caution, if they are separate this one is B lineolatum, which may be a mispelling of pileolatum. I need more information and a photo of what is considered B elegantulum

Synonyms Bulbophyllum pileolatum (Klinge) J.J. Sm. 1912; *Cirrhopetalum elegantulum Rolfe 1891; Cirrhopetalum pileolatum Klinge 1899
