Flower Size .8 to 1.6" [2 to 4 cm]
Found in eastern New Guinea in mangrove swamps and seasonally dry rainforests at elevations of sea level to 300 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with close set, erect, cylindrical, becoming angular with age, soft, fleshy, bright green becoming dull green, marroon to brown suffused pseudobulbs enveloped in youth by a tubular, well veined sheath and carrying a single, apical, erect, thin, soft, oblong to linear, acute non-petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall and summer on 1 to several, basal, single flowered, erect, subsessile inflorescence
