Flower Size

Found in eastern forests of Madagascar at elevations of sea level to 400 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with a thin rhizome and 1/2 to 3/4" [1.5 to 2 cm] between each ovoid, 4-angled, obtuse pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, ligulate or oblancelate-ligulate leaf that is gradually attenuate toward the base `that blooms in the late winter, spring and summer on a 10" [25 cm] long, enveloped entirely by 7 to 8 adpressed sheaths , rhachis thin, 4" [10 cm] long and slightly arched, fairly loosely to 20 flowered inflorescence
