Found in Sumatra on Mt Dempo and Borneo???? at elevations around 1700 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a rather thick, terete rhizome with .12" [3 mm] between each, erect, conical to disc-shaped pseudobulb carrying a single apical, erect, narrowly lanceolate, acute, minutely denticulate apically, narrowing below into the channeled, petiolate base leaf that blooms on a basal, erect, longer than the leaf, peduncle terete, 7.4" [18.5 cm] long, rachis thickened, angled, to 8.4" [21 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence.
