Found in New Guinea on trees in forests at elevations around 1000 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a thin, flexuous rhizome giving rise every .8 to 1.2” [2 to 3 cm] to each minute, cylindrical pseduobulb carrying a single, erect, ligulate, apiculate, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a short, provided with a few scales, single flowered inflorescence with cucullate, longerr than the ovary floral bracts
