Found in Madagascar in lichen rich evergreen forests at elevations around 1500 to 2000 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing epiphyte with .4 to 1.2" [1 to 3 cm] between each cylindrical-conical, rugulose pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, linear to ligulate, shortly attenuate and nearly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the early summer on a basal, erect, 4.4 to 8" [11 to 20 cm] long overall, densely many flowered inflorescence with oval-acuminate, half as long as the flower floral bracts.
