Found in Yunnan and Guangdong provinces of China at elevations around 2100 meters as a miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with 1.5 to 3" [3.75 to 7.5 cm] between each fusiform pseudobulb with basal, fibrous hairs and carrying a single, apical, erect, oblong to oblong-lanceolate, obtuse, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the later summer on a basal, erect, 4" [10 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence holding the flowers in an apical umbel.
