Found in Sulawesi in mossy forests and forest consisting of small palm trees at eelavtions of 1000 to 1200 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a creeping to straggling rhizome with non-persistent bracts and .64 to 3.72" [1.6 to 9.3 cm] betweent each, disitnct, ovoid, obtusely 4 angled pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic to ovate, obtuse petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erct, peduncle .24 to .28" [.6 to .7 cm] long, provided with 2 to 3 bracts, rachis if present to .56" [1.3 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with acute, shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
