Common Name The Fraudelent Bulbophyllum [refers to the misnaming of this species, for years it was lumped under Bulbophyllum arfakianum despite obvious differences]

Flower Size 2" [5 cm]

Found in Papua New Guinea as a unifoliate epiphyte with a creeping, branching rhizome that carries four angled pseuidobulbs with a single, apical leaf that blooms on a wiry, basal, 6" [15 cm] long, lateral, single flowered inflorescence that occurs intermitently throughout the year.

This species grows in cool to hot conditons with shade ample water and good air circulation.
