Found in southeastern Yunnan province of China on rocks in valleys at elevations around 1000 meters as a small sized, warm growing lithophyte with a creeping rhizome with 2.4" [6 cm] betweeen each, ovoid, ribbed pseudobulb carrying a single, narrowly oblong, thickly leathery, obtuse and slightly emarginate apically, , narrowing below into the conduplicate, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a basal, erect, 3.2 to 4.6" [8 to 11 cm] long, two flowered, umbellate inflorescence with 2 tubular sheaths and narrowly ovate floral bracts.

CAUTION I have my doubts about the veracity of this determination becasue of the umbellate inflorescence that the photo does not have so please use with caution.
