Common Name The Yellow-Brown Purple Bulbophyllum - The Tongue Orchid

Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]

Found in the Nilghiri Hills of India with a stout rhizome with .8" [2 cm] between each ovoid, pseudobulb carrying a single, oblong, obtuse, shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a stout, semi-erect, 4 to 8" [10 to 20 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence.
