Common Name or Meaning The Minas Gerais Bulbophyllum

Found in Guyana, Venezuela, and Minas Gerais state of Brazil as a miniature to small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte
Similar to B exaltatum and often as a synonym of, but B geraense has a smooth lip except at the base, and a strongly toothed apex. The fleshy ridge in the middle of the lip is singularily large and the teeth of the column are as long as the column itself with its foot included.
