Found in the Philippines at elevations around 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with .4" [1 cm] between each small, yellowish to greenish pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic to elliptic-lanceolate, slender, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the later spring on a basal or from the rhizome, erect, thread-like, 1.8" [4.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence carrying dark purple flowers.
