Found in Sabah Borneo in high mixed montane forests at elevations around 1700 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome with .12 to .4" [.3 to 1 cm] between each discoid to orbicular, somewhat glaucous green pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, thick, obovate to elliptic, glaucous, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer on a 3" [7.5 cm] long overall, peduncle 1" [2.5 cm] long, rachis 2" [5 cm] long, 30 to 40 flowered inflorescence with triangular, longer than the ovary floral bracts and carrying faintly fragrant flowers with basaly white sepals pale oragnge towardsthe tip, white petals with yellow tips, a yellowish lip with an orange streak down the middle,.
