Found on Mt Apo on Mindanao in the Philippines on mossy branches over creeks at elevations around 1700 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with .48 to .6 " [1.2 to 1.5 cm] between each slanting, round-ovate, very wrinkled longitudinally pseudobulb carrying a single, erect, leathery, oblong-lanceolate to widely lanceolate leaf that blooms in the spring on many, basal or from the rhizome, erect, single flowered inflorescence with a tubular basal bract.
