Common Name The Lake Habbema Bulbophyllum

Flower Size 1.6" [4 cm]

Found in New Guinea at elevations around 3225 to 3350 meters as a large sized, cold growing, scrambing terrestrial with a woody rhizome giving rise to small, cylindrical, closely depressed and parellel to the rhizome pseudobulbs carrying a single, suberect, coriaceous, glabrous but finely papillate near the tip of the margin, narrowly oblong-elliptic, green, purple along margins and on the underside of the petiole, unequally bilobed apically, basally clasping leaf that blooms on a short, from the rhizome, single flowered inflorescence.
