Found in western New Guinea in lower montane forests at elevations around 750 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with a slender, branched rhizome covered with lanceolate, acuminate, falling off bracts and giving rise to close together, ascending, cylindrical, base dilated pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, grass-like, linear, flaccid, obtuse leaf that blooms on a filiform, .8 to 1" [2 to 2.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with funnel-shaped, blade lanceolate, elongate, shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
