Found in Queensland Australia in rainforests on small upper branches of trees at elevations of 600 to 800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphtye with a sparsely branched rhizome enveloped by brown bracts and carrying naked, dark green pseudobulbs carrying dark green, fleshy, narrowly and shallowly grooved, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a .6" [1.5 cm] long, usually single flowered inflorescence
