Found in Sarawak, Brunei and Sabah Borneo in lowland forests at elevations around 1300 to 1600 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with 1.6 to 2.4" [3.5 to 6 cm] between each distinct, ovoid-cylindrical pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic to ovate, acuminate, shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms on a patent, peduncle to 1.08 to 2" [2.7 to 5 cm] long, .8 to 1.2" [6 to 7 cm] long overall, single to simultaneously subumbellate 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence with ovate floral bracts and carrying sharply fetid scented flowers.
