Common Name The Mt Halcon Bulbophyllum [A Philippine mountain on Mindoro island]

Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]

Found on Mindoro in the Philippines at elevations of 1400 to 2100 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with a thread-like rhizome with .4 to 1.2" [1 to 3 cm] btween each, round-pyriform, rugose when dry pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, narrowly elliptic-oblong, very fleshy, contracted below intothe very slender petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a basal, filiform, .6 to 1.2" [provided with a bract at the base, single flowered inflorescence.
