Common Name Haniff's Bulbophyllum [Indonesian Botanist 1900's] - In Chiona Piao Dai Shi Dou Lan

Found in southern Yunnan province of China, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia and Laos in evergreen broad leaved forests on tree trunks at elevations of 800 to 1700 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing, creeping epiphyte with a branching, pendant rhizome with .4 to .8" [1 to 2 cm] between each small ovate pseudobulb partially enveloped basally by an acuminate sheath and carrying a single, apical, elliptic, acute basally conduplicate into the short petiole leaf that blooms in the summer on a basal, very short, single flowered inflorescence with a short lived, bizarre flower.
