Found in Vietnam in evergreen lowland forests at elevations of 100 to 1200 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with ovoid to becoming twisted and rugose with age pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, elliptic-lanceolate, acute to unequally bilobed apcially leaf that blooms on an erect, 1`.2" [3 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence
