Found only in Papua New Guinea in lower montane forests as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a pendulous, rarely branched rhizome with 1.2" [3 cm] between each ovoid, sharply quadrangular pseudobulb carrying a single, that blooms in the fall on a short, single flowered inflorescence.
