Found in western Java in humid areas at elevations of 1000 to 1200 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with close set, long-ovoid, furrowed pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, lanceolate, rather obtuse, leaf that blooms on a basal, erect, shorter than the leaf, to 1.2" [3 cm], single flowered inflorescence
