Found in the eastern Himalayas, Assam, Thailand, Vietnam and Borneo in open mossy lower montane forests at elevations aroud 1300 to 2600 meters as a creeping, miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphtye or occsaional lithophyte with up to 1" [2.5 cm] between each, thin, cylindric pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, coriaceous, repent, elliptic leaf and blooms in the fall on a wiry, erect, 1” [2.5 cm] long, 2 flowered inflorescence
