Found in Kalimantan Borneo in tall ridge top forests at elevations around 800 to 900 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with a clustered to short creeping rhizome with not persistent bracts giving rise to rather small, .08 to .16" [.2 to .4 cm] between each, ovoid, not angular pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, patent to pendulous, elliptic to obovate, obtuse, petiolate base leaf that blooms on a pendent, peduncle to .4" [1 cm] long, provided with 3 bracts, rachis porrect, slightly thickened, spindle shaped, .8" [2 cm] long, dense, globose-ellipsoid, 10 to 15 flowered inflorescence with longer than the ovary floral bracts.
