Common Name The Unequal Bulbophyllum [refers to the unequal sepals]

Found in Sumatra at elevations of 1300 to 1400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a thin, branching rhizome giving rise to ovate, quadrangular, .4 to .8" [1 to 2 cm] between each, yellow pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, obovate to oblanceolate, obtuse, narrowing below into the short, channeled petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a very short, peduncle .48" [1.2 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence carrying white flowers thickly spotted with purple.
