Flower Size 3/4" [2 cm]
Found in Peru in wet montane forests at elevations around 800 meters with ovoid, quadrangular, obtusely angled pseudobulb with unequal sides that has 1 to 2, apical, elliptic to oblong elliptic, thickly coriaceous leaves that are conduplicate at the base that blooms on a basal, erect, 6" [15 cm] long inflorescence, arising on a mature pseudobulb, that has a nodding rhachis and 4 to 5 tubular scarious bracts occuring in the spring.
