Found in Sulawesi in mossy primary forests at elevations around 900 to 1200 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with .36 to 1.6" [.9 to 4 cm] between each, ovoid-cylindrical pseduobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic to obovate, obtuse to acute gradually narrowing below into the 1.2 to 2.4" [3 to 6 cm] long, petiolate base leaf that blooms on a erect to patent, 3.6 to 5" [9 to 12.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with acute floral bracts.
