Found in Sulawesi in the understorey of mossy montane forests at elevations of 1200 to 2900 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with close, distrinct, almost erect, ovoid, obtusely angular pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic to ovate, obtuse to acute, gradually narrowing below into the shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect to patent becoming slightly nodding, slightly thickened, contracted, racemose, 1.4 to 1.72" [ 3.5 to 4.3 cm] long, successively single, 1 to 7 flowered inflorescence with clustered bracts and acuminate floral bracts.
