Found possibly in Borneo without locational or elevational data as a mini-miniature sized, most likely hot growing [the only known plant is in cultivation in Singapore] epiphyte with a creeping rhizome giving rise to ellipsoid to ovoid, .32 to .68" [8 to 1.7 cm] between each, somewhat flattened, obtusely 5 to 6 angled pseudobulbs carrying a single, elliptic to ovate, obtuse, very thick, midrib not prominent, petiolate base leaf that blooms on a horizontal to drooping, peduncle .8 to 1.48" [2 to 3.7 cm] long, provided with 3 bracts, rachis 1.72 to 2" [4.3 to 5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with ovate, acuminate, shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying wide open, spiceily scented, creamy white flowers slightly greenish towards the center, the median sepal and the petals are stained with purple, particularily towards the margins and with purple spots along the veins, the lateral sepals are mostly the same but sparser and the lip and column are finely stained with purple.
