Common Name Johanul's Bulbophyllum

Flower Size .4" [1 cm]

Found in the Bismark Archipelago in lower montane forests with a thick, pendulous, branched rhizome with 3/4" [1.8 cm] between each ovoid, sharply quadrangular, lightly suffused with red pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, lanceolate to acuminate, margins somewhat recurved, smooth, almost sessile leaf that blooms on a very short, single flowered inflorescence with short floral bracts.
