Found in the Bismark Archipelago in lower montane forests as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a thick, pendulous, branched rhizome with 3/4" [1.8 cm] between each ovoid, sharply quadrangular, lightly suffused with red pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, lanceolate to acuminate, darker green than the pseudobulbs, not shiny, margins somewhat recurved, smooth, almost sessile leaf that blooms on a very short, single flowered inflorescence with short, much shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
