Common Name The Kani Bulbophyllum [A mountain Range in New Guinea]

Found in New Guinea at elevations around 1000 meters as a medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with .4 to .8" [1 to 2 cm] between each conical-cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, lanceolate-ligulate, acute, cuneate below into the base leaf that blooms in the late spring through fall on an erect, peduncle .2 to .48" [.5 to 1.2 cm] long, provided with 3 to 4 bracts, the longest .12 to .2" [3 to 5 mm], rachis erect, .16 to .4" [.4 to 1 cm] long, densely 3 to 10 flowered inflorescence with triangular, acute, shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
