Found in New Guinea at elevations around 1000 meters as a medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with [1 to 2 cm] between each conical-cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, lanceolate-ligulate, acute, cuneate below into the base leaf that blooms in the late spring through fall on a short, densely 3 to 5 flowered inflorescence
