Common Name Ken Chung's Bulbophyllum [Bornean Orchid Enthusiast and supporter of Kipand Park current]

Flower Size .76 to .88" [1.9 to 2.2 cm]

Found in Sabah Borneo in hill forests at elevations around 700 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome with .2 to .36" [5 to 9 mm] between each erect, shield shaped to ovoid on a flat base, obtuse apex slightly to strongly flattened, margin entire to wavy, green pseudobulb enveloped by a evanescent basal sheath and carrying a single, apical, erect, linear, green, leathery, obtuse, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a from the rhizome at the base of the pseudobulb, erect, peduncle 2.8 to 3.6" [7 to 9 cm] long, green to pale maroon, provided with one large basal bract and 2 smaller ones below the rachis, rachis 1.2 to 1.6" [3 to 4 cm] long, 4 to 5.6" [10 to 14 cm] long overall, simultaneously 3 to 5 flowered inflorescence with ovate, somewhat cupped, greenish creme, acute, much shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
