Found in Sabah Borneo in lower to upper wet montane forests at elevations of 1400 to 2000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with close set, ovoid, somewhat flattened pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, rather thin, elliptic to obovate, obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring, summer and early fall on an erect, basal, 1 to 1.6" [2.5 to 4 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with a tubular floral bract.
