Common Name Lamington's Bulbophyllum - In Australia The Cream Rope Orchid
Flower Size .22 to .26" [.55 to .65 cm]
Found in Queensland Australia in rainforests on small trees and rocks at elevations of 800 to 1200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to coolgrowing epiphyte or lithophyte with a pendulous, sparsely branched stem carrying well spaced, pale to dark green, naked, ovoid pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, stalkless, fleshy, broadly and shallowly grooved, pale to dark green leaf that blooms in the fall and winter on a, horizontal, .1 to .15" [2 to 3 mm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
